Viva Las Vegas!

Cruisin' the Strip in my muddy mangled Subaru...

I’m so stoked: this time next week I’ll be moving back out to the Earthship! I can’t wait to be back off grid, way out in the desert where the walking is as epic as it gets.

In the meantime, I’m going to take another road trip! Last week, my friend Becky and I made a pact to go to the 2011 Professional Bull Riding World Championships in Las Vegas. Last night we bought tickets for the opener next Wednesday.

Our plan is to leave New Mexico on Sunday, stop in Flagstaff and camp that night near Sedona, drive up to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to camp on Monday and then to Las Vegas on Tuesday in time to get cleaned up for the PBR kick off party at Studio 54!

Stay tuned for a post on big league bull riding, but don’t expect party pix on here. After all, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!
