Urban Exploring on Election Day: Philadelphia!

Philly Mural, Chain Link & Billboard

Today, I came in from the cold just long enough to vote – for the environment, for public lands, for human rights – and now I’m going right back to the woods. The night of the last presidential election, I camped out in New Mexico’s Gila Wilderness and heard the good news the following morning via old fashioned radio. I’m thinking the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania might be a good place to get away from Election Day lunacy. Then on to Niagara Falls and the Adirondacks! GO VOTE and stay tuned for another Blonde Coyote road trip!

..dont know if the artist…or yourself, intended it…but that painting of the indian woman and children has a lot to say about what we have done to that race of people…very sad…
